Integrated Body: The Organ System and Yoga -- Kidney and Bladder plus Integrated Organ Practice at Studio Hargett
Description
Whether teaching or practicing yoga, there are certain anatomical concepts that are useful, if not necessary. This course will review the bones of the skeleton, major muscle groups, and joint actions along with key concepts and principles. This material will then be applied to the practice and teaching of asana.
A basic anatomical atlas is required. The Anatomy Coloring Book is an affordable and interactive choice. Frank Netter's Atlas of Human Anatomy is a more sizable investment, but well worth it. If you already have something you love, use that!
