Description
The Oxford in downtown Raleigh will be hosting the Jason Adamo Band Saturday, February 11th from 10 pm to 2 am.
Jason Adamo
has already established himself as a truly soulful singer,
entrancing audiences across the U.S. with his inspired lyrics and
rapsy falsetto, while sharing he bill with many noted national acts,
including Martin Sexton, Carbon Leaf, Brandi Carlisle, Corey Smith,
Tyrone Wells and many more.
Now with the NEW Record "Transistor", and the addition of John Briggs, Doug Casteen, Shedrick Williams and Fabio Consani, The Jason Adamo Band puts a new spin on Adamo's classic soul.
The Oxford is the hallmark of a gastropub and adds an adventurous twist on familiar food that has been made from scratch with honest ingredients. We prefer a straightforward bill of fare that leaves room for experimentation. It's as adventurous as you want to be. Fancy or simple, the dishes are all reasonably priced, a key feature for our gastropub. The Oxford serves accessible food in an unpretentious setting equally inviting to regulars who belly up to the bar and hungry young families with strollers in tow. Gastropubs are not "see and be seen" venues but more "come as you are" places. In short a gastropub is a British term for a public house ('pub') which specializes in high-quality food a step above the more basic 'pub grub.' It is all found in the heart of Raleigh’s Downtown at The Oxford.
